Students with optimistic characters usually provide better performance, even if they work the same hard as others. Although someone may regard such conclusion as superstitious, it does take place everyday and everywhere. Neural scientists have discovered that, when a man feels confident, his brain will secrete some kinds of hormone that boost brain activity and improve the efficiency of his immune system. In contrast, a melancholic brain is suppressed by other chemicals and cannot fully exhibit its potential.
To help building up self-confidence, you can take the following two steps. First, identify your merits and value them. If you constantly compare your weakness to others’ advantages, you’d only gain frustration rather than confidence. Second, track every little progress you’ve made and review them frequently. You may not possibly become perfectly successful in one day, but if only you can see yourself growing gradually, surely you’re on the right way. There’re also other methods making you more confident that depend on yourself to find out, and they’re all necessary elements to make you more competitive in your area.
As we know, most of the middle school students today have the same dream, to go to college. To be a college student not only means that you can get further education but also means a great success.
However, the question is, whether going to a college is the only way to success. My answer is "No". I disagree to the opinion for the following reasons.
First of all, getting into a university does not necessarily mean that you have won everything. A famous English saying goes, "One can never be too old to learn". You still need study very hard to get the bachelor, master or even doctor degree to achieve greater success.
Secondly, besides colleges or universities, you still have lots of way to achieve success. In history, a number of famous scientists and scholars, who did not manage to get into colleges, still made great contributions to human beings. Why was that? Because they had the determination which led them to the success.
Thirdly, I think the most important thing for today's society is not a diploma but the personal ability. Nowadays, we are all fac-ing the challenges of the market economy so what is essential to-day is not how high education you received but how soon you can dealing with the difficulties of all kinds.

Besides, people will be tire easily after drinking, which is desperately dangerous to driving. In addition, people are usually excited after drinking. With stimulation of alcohol, people sometimes overestimate their own and try to do something dangerous despite of the advice of the people around them. In my opinion, it is necessary to ban on drinking while driving, for the sake of safety.
