in是介词，后面可以跟名词、宾格人称代词或者动名词做介词宾语，构成介词短语，在句中充当各种语法功能，比如定语、表语、状语等等。固定搭配：in the morning在早上；in the afternoon在下午；in the evening在晚上。
分类举例如下
in+名词：in the box在盒子里；in the park在公园；in 1999在一九九九年
in+宾格人称代词：You will always find a good friend in me.我永远是你的好朋友。
in+动名词：He spends a lot of money in entertaining his friends.他花很多钱款待他的朋友。
