第一时间以英语的语言形式进行思维,而不是先以汉语进行思维,然后再翻译成英语,就会减少汉语对英语学习的负面影响,大大提高了英语学习的时效性。因此,教师应采用多种教学手段将教学内容具体形象化,以英语直观思维的形式,呈现单词、短语、句型、对话交流,并保证语言思维的连贯性,尽可能避免直接使用汉语。本人以人教版go for it 八年级下Unit 7 What does he look like? Section B 3a-4课堂实录为例,浅谈自己在课堂教学中贯穿英语思维的尝试。
        Class begins, students and the teacher greet each other.
        The teacher show students a picture of Johnny Dean’s old look.
        T: Do you remember him? Who is he? What does he do?
        Ss: He’s Johnny Dean. He is a pop singer.
        T: What does he look like?
        S: He has long curly hair. He wears glasses. He is thin and tall. (学生直观思维,用上一节课所学内容进行回答)
        T: Yes, he always wears a pair of funny glasses. He is a pop singer with funny glasses and long curly hair. Look! Here is a boy.(指着一男生)He has short black hair. So we can say “This is a boy with short black hair.”
        T:(指着一女生) Here is a girl, she has long straight hair. Can you say this kind of sentence?
        S: This is a girl with long straight hair.
        (学生顺着老师的语言思路即能答出。)
        T: Very good!
        Show students a picture of a house with a garden, and ask students to make a sentence.
        S: There is a house with an interesting garden.(学生联想起本册二单元的同类型句子,加强理解。)
        T:That’s great.(指着教室) Our class room has four windows and two doors. Can you say in another way?
        S:This is a classroom with four windows and two doors .(have和with的区别使用是学习的难点,再一次强化思维)
        T:Very good!Johnny Dean is a pop singer with funny glasses and long curly hair. This is his old look. Now he has a new look.
        Show the picture of his new look. 
        T: Does he have long curly hair now?
        S: No, he has short straight hair.
        T: Does he wear glasses? 
        S: No, he doesn’t. 
        T:Right, he doesn’t wear glasses any more.“not…any more”means “不再……”. For example, 20 years ago, I am a student like you, but now I am not a student any more. And I don’t like eating ice cream any more. 
        (以现身说法让学生理解表达的含义)
        Can you say something with “not…any more”?
        S: I not short any more. I am tall now.(这是学生极易犯的错误,及时纠正)
        T: Sorry, you should say I’m not short any more.
        S: I don’t go to school late any more.
        S: I’m not thin any more. I am a little bit heavy.
        T: Good sentences. Do you like Johnny dean’s new look?
        S: Yes / No. 
        The teacher asks one student.” Do you think his new look is great?”
        S: I think it isn’t great. I like his old look.(顺势引出学生按汉语思维说英语易错的句型,立即纠正和引导正确思维。)
        T: You should say I don’t think it’s great.否定转移到前面。 How about you?(问另一学生)
        S:  I think his new look is good!
        T: S1 doesn’t think his new look is great, but S2 does. Do you understand “does” here?(引出代动词的使用)

        T: Good, but it means“likes” here. For another example, who cooks dinner for you every day?
        S: My mom does.(学生能紧跟思路马上运用该语言)
        S2: My grandparents does.
        T: Oh, you should say my grandparents do.(纠正学生错误,避免错误理解)
        T: Ok. Here is a passage about Johnny dean’s new look on page 45 3a. Open your books, read the passage and fill in the chart.(让学生从听说转到读写)
        Check the answers.
        Then ask students to close the books and retell Johnny dean’s new look only according to the pictures.(让学生看着图片直观思维,并巩固使用新学句型)
        Five minutes later, the teacher show pictures of Gloria Green’s old look and new look. Ask students to talk about Gloria green’s new look just like Johnny dean’s new look using the sentences “…with long hair”, “not …any more”, “I don’t think…” and etc.(设置新的情境,让学生创新地运用新句型)
        A few minutes later, students open the books and fill in the blanks in 3a.
        Then the teacher check the answers and ask, “ Does Gloria Green like her new look? And why?
        S: Yes, she likes. She says it’s great.
        T: Yes, because with the glasses and short hair, she can go shopping, and nobody knows her. Nobody means “no person”, “no one”. No fans follow her and ask her to take photos with her. That’s great for her.(讲解新词nobody)
        Homework: write about your look and design your new look.(趁热打铁,学生进行笔头巩固练习)
        这是本人课后整理的一节课的实录。在这一节课中,学生保持着连贯的英语语言思维,顺势理解新的语言现象,说上口,记在心,还能学以致用,轻松地进行笔头练习。学生印象深刻,效果非常好。

总之,培养学生用英语思维的习惯,加强以习得为主要形式的英语思维能力训练,是培养学生用英语表达思想的能力的重要手段和途径。在英语教学中,注重培养学生的英语思维,应循序渐进,注重语言学习与思维训练的结合,让学生通过自己的主动活动和头脑运转来获得知识,锻炼和提高他们的思维能力,进而更好地学习英语。
