Instructions:
~ Make an oral presentation of your knowledge or your ideas on the topic.
~ You have 5 minutes to prepare for the presentation.
~ In preparing for the presentation, plan on the content, organization and the manner of
delivery (what to say, and how to say it --such as in what sequence, how to connect, how
to emphasize, etc. )
~ Your presentation should last about 4 minutes.
Topic for your presentation:
Make a presentation on EL1, ESL and EFL.
In Units 3 and 7 you were exposed to the English language used beyond the British
Isles, used as local language, national language and international language. In your talk, you
should define the terms EL1, ESL and EFL; and explain how the English language is used
and learned in the Inner Circle, Outer Circle and Expanding Circle.
